Passage Projects was responsible for the structural engineering of the driving range at Tanah Merah Country Club — an 11-metre cantilevered roof that extends over the practice area. Though minimal in appearance, the structure involved complex detailing and tight fabrication tolerances to meet both architectural and performance requirements.
Careful coordination and detailing allowed the structure to read as an architectural element rather than an engineered frame. Blending structure and architecture was essential to the success of the design.
