Curated by the collective Formwerkz and Bravo, the 2019 edition is based on the theme ''Unnatural Phenomena'', which explores the origin and evolution of extraordinary hybrids when disciplines collapse, mix, and morph in shared pursuits. SingaPlural 2019 calls for the creation of new species to challenge disciplinary boundaries and to provide inspiration beyond the show.

The grand fountain of Okada Manila, surrounded by the Corridor, has been unveiled on the 31st of March during a grand celebration with fireworks and live performance.

The exhibition Evolving Joinery is held at the National Design Centre, Singapore, from the 16/12/16 to the 9/01/2017. Organized by Sawako Kaijima from SUTD, it presents a contemporary interpretation of the traditional interlocking timber joints.
